About this Site

Main Site Functions

Interactivity at 'e-Consultancy Access'

  • Complete interaction with the site before entering another interaction The site leaves your current interaction at the screen while offering various choices for next-level interaction. While both are visible at the screen, you can value your current interaction and its following options against the purpose of your visit.
  • Use of links is kept to a minimum as they take you away from the place you were focussing on.

Continue interaction between visits

  • When visiting a second time, the site tells you where you worked upon last time (and before). This helps to call up ideas, associations you may have forgotten and other impressions that came up but that you gave no follow up (say because you decided to take it further when you had the time). Full use of this function enables to create your own functionality of a 'diary' on problems, ideas or 'Ideegeschichte' that have your attention currently.
  • Consistent with the site's concept is that you can always return to your selected field free of charge. If you enter another field, you'll be presented to confirm that the corresponding value will be charged against your account.

Search and connect your field

  • In a selected field you can browse through additions and comments and you can search in all fields by keywords that you can configure.
  • Once you have selected your field of interest you can call up 'adjacent fields', ie. fields that appear connected through statistically significant overlapping visits.

User control

Identity for access and addition

Choosing a name under which you add your experience and your comments on available experience allows taking barriers that otherwise would probably prevail. On the other hand, the site should not be a place for additions and comments that are untrue and thereby contrary to its purpose. That's why additions and comments are charged against visitor's accounts, at half the price of access, though. Generally, visitors are invited to notify us, whenever they encounter doubtful or unlawful content.

    Account information

Once you've decided that you want to access a field, you're asked to take an account. An account contains 10 prepaid credits. The system charges 4 credits for access to a field and 2 credit for an addition or a comment. Revisits of the same field are free of charge. Since we keep money of visitors as long as they have credits to spend, we have taken utmost precaution to safeguard our database from malpractice. Certification of the procedures proper is under way.

Cost and payment

  • An account holds a minimum of 20 credits for the price of € 20,00. If you need more credits, you can order a supplementary amount. You'll find a conversion table at the appropriate place at the site for the amount of € 20,00 in $, £ and ¥, adapted every Friday. Source: the official daily rates published by the European Central Bank at Frankfurt, every Friday 3 pm. The rates published at Fridays are the ones used for the following week untill next Friday.
  • For payment you can use your credit card or other means of electronic payment. On entering the payment function for an account a dialogue opens with virtually all such systems that are internationally accepted for electronic transaction processing. Just click to select your preferred system or card. (See 'Privacy' for more information).
  • You set your own password on opening an account. To anticipate the event of forgetting or losing your password, you are invited to add a personal expression, knowable to you only, ensuring that you are the person who is entitled to an account that still holds credits. When you inform the system that you've lost your password, you'll be requested to enter the personal expression, after which you receive a new password by e-mail.
  • Our service providers Bibit (payment processing) and WorldCom (server and network) warrant -as we do- the highest quality in delivery, reliability and security.

Theme, Logo, Site Colors

'Knowledge Management Tools for e-Transformation' holds the invitation to contribute to learning from practical know-how on e-transformation, possibly the key to the 'knowledge society'. To-day's challenge may be to protect the underlying values of entrepreneurship and innovation and to extend them to encompass world-wide community and society.

The logo with the trees, the water and the light rising at the horizon reflects the saying, that it is sometimes difficult to see a forrest through all trees, ie. to see the whole in the variety of different elements.

For the information of the user: the Home page and the next page, 'Preselect' are designed in variants of blue; the page entitled Locator and the interactive screens for field visits and all handling taking place there, in variants of orange.
